Long before I thought of myself as a naturalist, I was already paying attention like one. Nature, animals, art, and fine detail have fascinated me throughout my life. I want to know what something is, how it works, why it looks or behaves the way it does, and what might reveal itself if I stay curious long enough.I’m drawn to the strange details of living things: the architecture of a flower, patterns across skin or feather, an animal disappearing into its surroundings, the traces left behind by something that was there long before us. The world seems to become more intricate the longer you spend observing it.My photography grows from that curiosity. I document what I encounter and interpret those observations through mood, texture, atmosphere, and contrast, not to change what was there, but to translate the encounter through my own visual language.Featured In
